11 The invention relates to a wood shredding device using an external power source, for example a vehicle such as a tractor. The purpose of the invention is to reduce energy consumption. The wood chopping device comprises a rotor 2 mounted in the housing 1, made in the form of disks 4 and 5 fixed on the shaft 4 and 5, between which there are blower blades 6 for deflashing the chips. The blades 7 and the blades holders 8 are attached to the blade 6 and the blades 7 enter the holes 9 provided in the disk 4 of the rotor 2. The blades 7 protrude from the outer surface of the disk 4 by a distance equal to the length of the chip. The distance of the blade 7 from the disk 4 is adjusted by means of a fur, low 10, which is a bolt and nut. For adjusting the distance of the blade 7, elongated holes 11 are provided. Additional blades 12 are attached to the side plates 13 of the lower device and fit into slots 14, extruded into the blade x 6, to allow the passage of additional blades 12. One of the side plates 13 has a tractor three-point connection, and the other plate 13 carries a hopper 15 for feeding trees to the blades 7. In the lower building there is a rotor 2 supported rotatably by flange bearings. A wood shredded with a diameter of, for example, 200 mm is introduced through the feed hopper 15 into the device, so that the end abuts against the face of the disk 4 of the rotating rotor 2 and because of this rises sideways to the counter-blade 16. When the rotor 2 rotates, the blades 7 project from the chips are separated from the end of the tree. As a result of the feed direction, the position of the blade 7, the angles of the blades and other parameters, the tree is not cut as it is crushed, and there is no need to push it continuously. The chips are separated from the end of the tree between the discs 4 and 5 of the rotor 2, rotate as a result of the action of the blade 6 along the rotor to the mouth of the blower tube and are transmitted along the pipe system to the trailer. By adjusting the position of the blades 7, the chip length can be changed as required.
